Ana and Andrew have a quite the back story. They met at Soul Night back when it was at Rotture. It was a chance, dance floor romance. They realized that night that they both grew up in Yorba Linda, California and went to high school with one another– although coming from a big school they didn’t know one another. Much later into their relationship they realized their dads carpooled to work and were pals. That’s just nuts.
Since a music venue was in their love story they decided to have the wedding at Mississippi Studios. And a brunch wedding! I had to convince myself a bit that 8:00am was a great time to start shooting, but once I got going it was a really nice way to bring in the day and be there for Ana and Andrew from the beginning.
But a morning wedding does not by any means mean mellow. The reception was a lot of fun with a piñata, chicken and waffles, dancing, lots of drinking, speeches, and June Lion hosted a photo booth. There are a handful of those photo booth photos in the blog post but the rest can be viewed here.
Jen Hecht was my wonderful and supportive second shooter and photo booth master photographer. Thank you Jen!
