Leslie and Ross’s Very Musical Backyard Wedding

I think Leslie and Ross are my muses, everything they do is magic. They threw a killer wedding with killer friends and family and music was at the center of it all. Violinist/guitar for ceremony, some crazy steal drum during dinner, the bride played guitar and sang to her groom and was joined by a flash mob of musicians, the brother played guitar and sang for the father/daughter dance (must fight back tears so I don’t have to shoot with blurry eyes), and then of course great taste in dance music bringing them late into the night. The bridal party got ready at the ballet studio that the bride attended her whole life. Leslie wore a vintage dress that she added a few personal touches to. A friend of the family just happened to have a flock of messenger doves to release during the ceremony.  Catering was by Blossoming Lotus, all vegan and the best wedding food ever, no exaggeration. The guests folded little paper canoes, wrote their wishes on them and floated them downstream. Homemade ice cream, pies and cookies. Their friends surprised them with a pop up camper converted into an Arabian Bohemian romantic jeanie bottle to stay in for the night. These are all the tid bits that made this backyard wedding in Silverton, Oregon so freaking perfect. A super special thanks to Paige Jones for shooting this with me.
