This was my second time photographing the Sheblanc family and I’ve already declared them one of my favorite families of all time. They are just “extra”. Extra sweet, extra funny, extra excited about printing their photographs, extra energy all around. They delivered some of the kale muffins they made during the shoot the next day to my house, that’s just how special they are.

Often with my fall family photo sessions, we would shoot out in nature somewhere in or near Portland, but I loved that they choose to photograph at home, and embrace the fall vibes in their yard and neighborhood. I’m so glad we printed a big album and several canvas’s, so this kid will always remember what an amazing childhood he had, and all the loving and playful interactions with mom and dad.

We also printed for them some gallery canvas’s to display. I photographed one of the large finished pieces (20″x30″), and then a mock-up of the other 4 they received. I’m able to mock up wall art designs with photos of the clients home so they can see exactly what the photos will look like in their space, to scale.
