I really want to talk about why printing your photographs is important – in this digital era of swiping and forgetting the photos you saw just yesterday, print is not always considered. A printed photograph engages the senses and feels more, you hold it carefully or you hang it on a wall and it means more, and the ones that are printed, are the ones you’re going to remember and become part of your legacy. To have family photos hanging on a wall or in an album, gives kids a tangible testament of family to look back on, and builds their self esteem. Digital files are great so you can have them ALL and share on social media etc., but they can get lost, and they can degrade or become corrupt over time, and can be archived solely on an outdated format, so that’s why I’m a “hybrid” photographer that encourages both digital and print. It so great to have those special photos to walk by everyday and have conversations about, or flip through an album together at bedtime, instead of having to show your kids photos on a computer screen. I speak a lot to families, but it really brings everyday joy and reminders of love into couples lives too.

A great option for those who don’t have a lot of wall space. All images are retouched with a custom layout. I pre-design this album for you to take the pain out of choosing, and we can swap images if needed. After choosing wall art, there are always more photos than there is wall space. A beautifully crafted album is the perfect way to preserve every single photo you love from our shoot.

This storybook album has full page album spreads printed on archival paper and mounted on thick white lay-flat mat board. Album cover options include a wide variety of quality leather, silk, vintage leathers, faux leather, linen, and fabric options with optional embossing available. A durable album meant to last generations.

Typically used for a Parent or Grandparent album but can be an intimate album for you too. 5″x5″ that’s perfect size for carrying along with you. Matt board pages with retouched archival prints mounted onto them. Many cover materials and colors available.

 

Cards & Announcements

Any and all occasions: holidays, birth announcement, graduation announcement, thank you cards, save the dates. Thick quality paper, boutique cuts, and foil options, 2 sided color printing. Many designs available both modern and traditional and in between. Comes with a white envelope.

Retouched prints

Make sure your photos are printed to perfection with retouched prints. Retouching includes: Removing blemishes, softening/removing unflattering lines, controlling flyways, lightening/darkening areas to give the most impact, evening out skin tones, a more refined color correction/b&w adjustment, and removing distracting elements. And then I promise, prints made through my professional lab are much better than what can be commonly found on the consumer-level. When you have a print that lives on a wall for 30 years, it’s nice to have it polished up and well printed. All my products above will be retouched with an exception of the print box.
