Portland Fine Art Family Photography
For the Klotz family we put together a plan to take some candid family lifestyle photos and then also get a little wilder with some more artistic images. Their home was full of beautiful art already, so it made sense to make art that they got to be part of to add to their collection. It was so much fun to do something different from typical family photos and create images that no other family will have. We incorporated a roll of film which is always so good for adding vibe and nostalgia. I even created some cyanotypes for a personal project with a couple of their images that you can see toward the end. I’m excited to see what we can make for this family next time around.

Inspired, I created some cyanotypes with a couple of the images from our shoot.

Here were some of the pieces we put together for a gallery wall on their staircase. We also designed a beautiful coffeetable album that archived their favorites that I didn’t have a chance to photograph.
