Sarah & Chris
Sarah + Chris’s DIY bohemian wedding had so many personal touches. Sarah folded 1000 paper cranes that they hung on the arbor Chris’s dad made. Sarah made her floral crown that included a silk flower from her godmothers wedding dress. For her bridal shower, Sarah and her friends made the terrarium centerpieces. She collected/thrifted all the glass terrariums along with vintage linen napkins, serapes, and tablecloths. The doily bunting was sewn by her mom from the same doilies they had around the house throughout her childhood. And for their cards they used a wood box given to Sarah by her grandmother as a child. So much heart went into this wedding. And so much heart went into the speeches – everyone was so engaged – I love it when the speaker is so candid in their stories and bare all about why the couple mean so much to them. Speeches are quickly becoming my favorite part of a wedding day.
I also can’t go on enough about how amazing the Mariachi band, Mariachi Calavera was. The music was SO full of passion – they made the ceremony that much more emotional, and the reception so much fun.
Thanks so much to Ashley Forrette for shooting with me and crafting some beautiful photos for these two.
Priceless…… wish I could have been there love you
