This year was my very first year ever doing mini-sessions. I think what had stopped me before is that I just hate rushing the photography experience and want to have a chance to chat more with people, feel like it’s more custom, and give everyone a chance to open up more so I can get the really genuine stuff. But sometimes people just want a quick update of their family, or funds are tight, or they don’t think their kid would hang for a longer session. Covid brought a lot of change, so I wanted to try it all out to help accommodate people in this crazy time and also get to nature to just have some fun with their family. And it all went so much better than I expected. Everyone loved their photos and I got to see some old faces if even for a bit. There were some clients that I photographed their wedding like 9 years ago! It was fast but we got great shots, and I’m glad I opened myself up to doing them. Here are a few pics of each of the lovely families that participated.
