You never know what you’ll get when you decide to have your wedding on the first day of spring on the Oregon coast. I was pretty shocked when it was sunny with no rain at all. But the wind! So much cold wind that was hard to bear at times, and I wasn’t wearing a wedding dress. Sydni and Garrett were such a dream to photograph despite the crazy weather. Even though it was cold, I think warm thoughts when I look over the photos. These two were from Utah and brought along their closest family to have their wedding at the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, OR. Such a symbolic place with some of the most gorgeous scenery on the Oregon Coast. And so much emotion from the family– I think everyone felt the presence of peace and nature and love here.
