We’re getting into the indoor cozy-season, and there is nothing more I love than creating art for you at your own home. It’s where everyone feels most comfortable and you can be more nurturing to your children, it’s where personalities shine the most, and we can get the best candids. Unless it’s really crummy, we usually go outside in your yard/neighborhood/porch for some photos too. Despite her comment below about a grumpy partner and toddler, I just consider any of that “part of life” and just keepin’ it real – they really were all a total joy to work with.

This was just a 90 minute lifestyle session with the Richardson Family, but if you really are drawn to those raw and real photos the most with no direction, the 1/2 or full day documentary session is where it’s at. Here is an example of documentary family photography.
