You will not believe how fast the first two years of your child’s life will go. As a mama, I’ve been simultaneously happy and sad when my baby reaches the next milestone, or grows out of a favorite outfit because time just flies by. Each phase is so special and different from the parents’ role too, and I feel it’s all so worthy of documenting. With “Baby Club”, it’s pretty relieving to know you’re already set on documentation for the first 2 years, without scrambling to plan things again whenever you think about it, maybe missing a really precious phase. Over the course of multiple sessions, I’m also able to develop rapport with your kiddos, helping them be more comfortable and relaxed with me, allowing us to get the best photos.

Here are the 5 baby club sessions:

Maternity:  Last time it’s just the two of you, or the family you are today.

Newborn:  Fresh to the world, parents-in-awe new parent feelings.

6-7 Months:  Sitting-up quintessential chunky-baby phase, a lot of sweet smiles and cuddly moments before they are mobile and you’re lucky to get a cuddle in anymore.

1 Year:  Standing up, crawling or maybe starting walk and explore their world. Lots of hand-held walks and learning happening.

2 Years:  When their personalities are really starting to shine and it’s more of a “child driven” session.

If you missed the opportunity for maternity photos, or don’t want that session, we can also use it for a 3 year or “flex” session.

Here are a few photos from each of the the Hugo’s family sessions. Even though it was Banyan’s “Baby Club” sessions, I gave big sister River equal photo-time, I just put a little more focus on Banyan for this post to show those first milestones a little more. Their newborn session was during a peak “quarantining” time, so that’s why the newborn photos are shot through windows and at a distance and outside; newborn photos are usually shot in-home.
