Portland Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Kalie and Jeffrey wanted to have both their maternity and newborn photos at home so they could include their fur-babies. I always love photos at home, because it really is the place where people feel most comfortable to be themselves. It’s also where I can document this point in your life more fully – before it inevitably changes. The photos with precious baby Quinn will follow the maternity photos, and I can only hope I get to continue to photograph their beautiful family and add to these faves over the years.

Most of my maternity clients book me for newborn photos too. I offer a discount for doing this, but also it’s just great to get a plan in place for when baby comes without the extra steps. We also get to build familiarity, and with that comes being comfortable. When you have a newborn baby, are likely nursing, and might not feel your prettiest at all times – and I’m coming into your home with a camera in-hand – that comfort is priceless.

Then here were some designs we created, the first one is a mock-up using photos from their own home, the second one is in my mock-rooms since we put it in a hallway that couldn’t be photographed.
