I had so much fun with the Brakken family (Shelby, Indi, and Sawyer) getting “weird” and getting my artistic energy out during the winter months. I experimented with all sorts of “toys”: prisms, gels, holes in felt, polaroid camera, tilt-shift lens, headlamps, flash, shooting through glass, and anything else I could come up with in the moment – letting my freak-flag fly. When you suggest to “get weird” and a clients is game – that’s when I can really let loose – and I always love and appreciate trust in my artistic vision. I make art for myself AND for my clients – the perfect combo for creating something unique.
