I met Heather years ago through an old friend, as well as having the honor of photographing her sister’s wedding several years back. People come into your lives and you remember them, and you cherish them in your own way, and then one day they call you up and say, “I’m getting married and I definitely want you to photograph it”. That’s when I *gasp* in excitement and am humbled that they were thinking about me all this time.

Heather and Matthew had a sweet magic, sparked by a love of music, and a glue that only love can define. They had the same genuine gentle spirit, and sprit is the stuff that really matters. They had a magical wedding at Polaris Hall— this was my 3rd time shooting there and it only gets better. They had a bunch of friends that looked like rock-stars, and I just looked like a mom with a camera that was a little too excited to be there. Heather’s Pep Band played cocktail hour with all the pep possible, and the David Bowie Cover band Boys Keep Swinging was so spot on, I could hardly shoot with how much I wanted to dance instead. Much love for these two and the amazing wedding they threw.

And much love for Briana Morrison; I’m the only one she second shoots for these days because she’s such a badass on her own.
